Fertility & IVF
IVF (in vitro fertilization) is a type of assisted reproduction technology that involves a series of procedures to treat fertility and help conceive a child. During IVF, mature eggs are taken from ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a laboratory. It is true that men and women are equally likely to experience infertility. Due to increased stress at work, fast-paced urban lifestyle, environmental toxins and late marriage age – the risks of infertility increase dramatically.
Sometimes an inexplicable reason for infertility can cause more frustration and depression in a couple’s life. Therefore, it is important to go for a fertility treatment process that is assuring you. At Vignesh Fertility & children’s Hospital, we are committed to providing the best ethical treatment for fertility and assisted reproduction.
What is IVF?
IVF or in vitro fertilization is a process by which the egg is processed and combined with the sperm outside the body, i.e. glass fertilization, and the fertilized embryo is then transferred to the uterus.
The cause of infertility may include hormonal imbalance in men or women, ovulation disorders in women, a problem with the fallopian tubes or uterus, and another undiagnosed reason may be possible. The treatment of ifertility at Vignesh Fertility & children’s Hospital is precise and focused on success. Our state-of-the-art facility and highly experienced fertility specialists offer exceptional treatment options for a variety of infertility conditions.
Conditions and treatments
Assisted reproduction techniques
Shortened to ART, these techniques use artificial means to achieve a pregnancy in the laboratory. The main methods are intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
Natural Cycle IVF involves collecting and fertilizing the egg that you release during normal monthly cycle. The treatment is the same as conventional IVF, but no fertility drugs are used in this treatment.
In this fertility treatment, an embryologist uses micromanipulation under a microscope to create a small hole in the outer layer of the eggshell. It is made to hatch or implant embryos that are unable to safely escape (intact) from the outer covering of the eggs.
Male Fertility Treatment – ICSI
Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is a specialized form for the treatment of fertility in men. ICSI is performed in order to improve the fertilization process in IVF by injecting a single sperm into a mature egg, that is this procedure only requires a single sperm which is directly injected into an egg. mature and the fertilized egg is then transferred to the uterus.
Recurrent IVF Failure
Today, IVF and ICSI are successful treatment options available to infertile couples. But despite a number of transfers with apparently good embryos, some cycles do not end with successful implantation. We offer a variety of tests to identify the cause of repeated implantation failure, and we specialize in treating recurrent IVF failure with the highest success rate.
Blastocyst Transfer A blastocyst transfer is performed after IVF or ICSI. A blastocyst is a human embryo that is five, six or seven days old. This embryo is transferred to the uterus because it has a better chance of leading to a pregnancy.
Sperm Recovery Surgical in cases where semen is absent in ejaculation, semen surgical recovery is used to obtain semen using MESA (Micro-Surgical Epididymal Sperm Aspiration), PESA (Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration), TESA (Testicular Sperm Aspiration) and TESE (Testicular Sperm Extraction).
Preserving Fertility Preserving fertility is the process of saving or protecting eggs or embryos and sperm so that a person can use them to have biological children in the future. We specialize in providing fertility care to patients with cancer or whose fertility is at risk. For the ladies who want to establish.
